This dapper gentleman comes framed behind glass in a hefty gold filled brooch and is ready for a night out on the town! So get out there, you two, and party like it's 1869!

The tintype looks like it may have been folded or bent at some point before making its way into the brooch. The former crease line is only visible at certain angles and not when you look at it head on. Glass has light surface scratches that are mainly visible under magnification, like in the photos. To the naked eye, you don't really notice them. There is a cut in the back of the brooch where someone mostly likely tested for gold. The back also has a few cosmetic dents.
Cleaning and Care
Do not get this piece wet and store out of direct sunlight. Gently polish with a soft jewelry cloth if necessary.
