Many ancient civilizations as well as members of Victorian society believed that coral had amulet powers to promote good health and to protect a person from danger or magic spells.
While we can't attest to any of its protective powers, we can tell you that it does feel almost magical to slip this beauty on!
Fashioned in gold-filled brass and encrusted in dozens of vibrant salmon colored natural coral beads, this biedermeier-style bangle features an eye-catching stylized flower centerpiece.
It hinges on the side and fastens securely with a tongue-and-groove catch with accompanying safety chain.

Some of the coral buttons that make up the flower centerpiece seem ever so slightly off kilter. Most likely the metal stems are slightly bent, but we do not want to risk trying to straighten them for fear they could snap. We feel this slight imperfection embraces the biedermeier naturalistic style. Clasp fastens securely.
Cleaning and Care
Do not submerge coral into any type of jewelry cleaner. It will ruin them. Clean with mild soap and water if needed.
