A traditional Irish symbol of love, hope and faith, clovers were a popular motif in Victorian sentimental jewelry.
Often presented to a friend or loved one as a token of affection, these three-leaf-clovers, or shamrocks, saw a rise in popularity in the 19th century as Victorian's fascination with plants and natural history began to blossom.
This beautiful brooch is particularly sweet. Crafted in brass, this darling shamrock is set with amethyst colored faceted glass.
