If you love to dazzle, but diamonds aren't really your thing, then allow us to introduce you to the next best thing: Bohemian garnets!
These crimson-hued beauties hail from the region of Bohemia (which later became Czechoslovakia), and were all the rage in the Victorian era through the turn of the century.
Clustered together in pave settings to avoid seeing any traces of metal, Bohemian garnets were often rose cut to add varying tones and rich dimension as well as to make them sparkle in any lighting situation.
One of the oldest known and most beloved gemstones, garnets are believed to shield its wearers from harm. Also associated with the heart, blood, inner fire and life force, garnets have long been considered symbols of love and friendship. It's also the birthstone for all you January babies!
This stunning cocktail ring is fashioned in two different metals. The garnets are set in jeweler's brass also known as garnet gold. The ring shank is crafted in 14k gold.
Truly a great piece for any deco (or garnet) lover!
