"Jack in the Pulpit" Frosted Glass Fluted Hand Vase

Regular price $58.00
Unit price
per

Absolutely gorgeous frosted glass vase resembling a Jack-in-the-Pulpit flower.  The vase features a hand holding a fluted glass cornucopia.  Hand motifs are seen in abundance in Victorian jewelry and housewares.  A hand holding a cornucopia would symbolize abundance and good fortune.  Cornucopia (cornu copiae) translated from latin means "horn of plenty."

These vases were popular in the Victorian era and into the 1950s.  Some glass and pottery companies used Victorian molds to recreate these gorgeous vases in the 1940s and 50s.  This is one of those reproductions.  Nevertheless, it is still a stunning piece that will stand out in your home.
