This is a gorgeous hand painted glass plate used for printing ca. 1940. The image depicts the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The glass shows printing markers on either side of Mary with a handwritten signature "Rod #". There is an emulsion on the same side of the plate where Mary is painted, great care should be taken to protect that side of the plate so the emulsion/image is not scratched. This plate was photographed with a white piece of card stock placed behind the image but this plate also looks incredible in front of a window. This would be a wonderful addition to any religious collection.
