Contrary to popular belief, hair jewelry was not always mourning jewelry. Exquisitely handcrafted in 14k rose gold, this stunning piece features table worked human hair channel set into a solid gold setting. It has a a customizable banner going across the center, which unfortunately was never engraved so we do not know who the hair belonged to or whether this was a mourning piece or romantic piece. 

Still, it is a lovely piece of jewelry showcasing a since forgotten past time of our ancestors.
