Effortless, chic and deliciously vampy, this crimson Georgian beauty is a total mood.
Exquisitely crafted in high 13k/low 14k gold, this simple, yet stunning ring features a foiled back 4 carat flat-cut garnet in a crimped collet setting. The foiling truly gives this piece an otherworldly reflecting pool appearance. We're not saying that this ring is magical, but it probably is.
The wide band makes this piece easy and comfortable to wear. It's an almost 200-year-old statement piece for sure!
Additional Details
Date: 1830s
Materials: High 13k/low 14k gold, 4 carat flat-cut garnet, foil
Size: 6
Markings: None
Condition: Very Good
Garnet and gold shank have very faint surface scratches consistent with age and wear. There is a small notch taken out of the back of the band from where a previous dealer got a little overzealous when testing the gold. It has been professionally smoothed down so it will not cut or snag anything.
Cleaning and Care
Because the stone is foiled, it CANNOT be immersed in any type of liquid. It will ruin the foiling. Please be sure to remove this ring prior to washing your hands. Band can be polished with a dry polishing cloth if needed.
