Condition: Good
Necklace has that great antiqued patina that only comes with age. This piece was most likely a dime store necklace, which means it is not of the highest quality (but it's still better than the cheapo costume jewelry of today!). It has some flaws and extra solder that occurred during the original casting. The bottom filigree loop is bent upward around the rhinestone. We chose to leave it that way because there is the possibility of snapping the brass if you try to bend it back. It does not overly detract. Clasp is in perfect working order.
Cleaning and Care
If you want to maintain the antique brass patina, we recommend that you do not dip this piece into any sort of store bought jewelry cleaner. It will brighten it up significantly. Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Dry thoroughly.
