Named after the Duchess Louise de La Vallière, a mistress of French King Louis XIV, lavalier necklaces have been loved and sought after for centuries.

Sleek and sensual, these finely crafted pendants often culminate with a single pearl or a glistening gemstone drop -- reminiscent of a tear running off the cheek, or a drop of dew on the tip of a leaf.

This wonderfully streamlined and incredibly modern looking pendant is crafted in 10k yellow gold and dotted with delicate natural seed pearls.

Mounted in the center of the pendant is a beautiful round faceted amethyst that glistens in the light. Dangling from the bottom of the pendant is a striking teardrop shaped baroque pearl.

Pendant comes with a 14k gold chain.

Amethyst has no visible surface scratches however it does have a very tiny chip right at the edge of the bezel setting. It is only noticeable under magnification and it does not affect the sparkle of the stone.

Pearls are very porous. Do not submerge them into any sort of harsh chemicals as it will ruin them. Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Dry thoroughly. Lightly polish with a jewelry polishing cloth, if needed.
