Named after the Duchess Louise de La Vallière, a mistress of French King Louis XIV, lavalier necklaces have been loved and sought after for centuries.
Sleek and sensual, these finely crafted pendants often culminate with a single pearl or a glistening gemstone drop -- reminiscent of a tear running off the cheek, or a drop of dew on the tip of a leaf.
This wonderfully curvaceous Art Nouveau era pendant is crafted in 10k yellow gold and features a delicately carved shell cameo accented with natural seed pearls and a pearl teardrop.
Pendant comes on a new 10k gold chain.

Necklace shows normal signs of age and use. The top of the pendant is ever so slightly misshaped at the top right. It could be an original flaw or it may have been pushed in a touch at some point in its life. Not overly noticeable.
Cleaning and Care
Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Do not immerse pearls in any type of cleaning solution. It will ruin them. Lightly polish with a jewelry polishing cloth, if desired.
