Operating since 1868, Bachrach Studios is considered to be one of the oldest continually operating photography studios in the world.
Known for capturing the only known photo of Abraham Lincoln giving his Gettysburg Address, Bachrach -- and his decedents -- have since made a name for themselves by capturing the portraits of some of history's most famous faces.
From President Andrew Johnson to JFK; Charles Lindbergh to Albert Einstein, Bachrach Studios had 48 locations across the United States at its height around 1929.
However, you didn't have to be a notable who's who to have your portrait captured by this studio.
This stunning photograph was taken just after the turn of the century. It is printed on porcelain and hand painted to bring this lovely lady to life! Portrait is signed by Bachrach in the corner and comes with its original paperwork, which is hidden behind the portrait in its decorative brass frame.
Sadly, there is no information as to who this lovely woman is.
Whether you rock it as a pendant or hang it on a wall, this little portrait is guaranteed to be a conversation starter!
