Rubies show signs of wear and use and do have surface scratches, but they are all original and look pretty amazing for being 174 years old! The pearls have been replaced. One of the side ruby collets has been professionally repaired by our jeweler to ensure that the stone is secure. You cannot see the repair.
Cleaning and Care
Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Do not immerse pearls in any type of cleaning solution. It will ruin them. Lightly polish with a jewelry polishing cloth, if desired.
