Often considered the most romantic jewel of all time, toi et moi rings have a rich, amorous history dating back centuries.
French for "you and me," these beautiful rings feature two gemstones, often identical in size, positioned side by side or close to each other to symbolize two souls becoming one or the twinning of two hearts.
A popular style of engagement ring in the 19th and early 20th centuries, the toi et moi ring was first propelled into the spotlight in 1796 when French revolutionary soldier Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to Joséphine de Beauharnais, a union Napoleon's family were fiercely against.
Handcrafted in 10k gold and set with two beautiful periwinkle Montana sapphires surrounded by delicate seed pearls, this exquisite ring is emblematic of the entwining of two hearts. One look at it and it is easy to see the representation of the love between two people.
However, you don't have to be popping the question to give your betrothed a toi et moi ring. It can also be presented as an anniversary gift, a promise ring or simply as a token of affection.
