Named after the Duchess Louise de La Vallière, a mistress of French King Louis XIV, lavalier necklaces have been loved and sought after for centuries.
Sleek and sensual, these finely crafted pendants often culminate with a single pearl or a glistening gemstone drop -- reminiscent of a tear running off the cheek, or a drop of dew on the tip of a leaf.
This delightfully dainty streamlined beauty hails from the early 1900s, though it feels almost modern in style.
Finely crafted in 10k yellow gold and dotted with petite seed pearls, this striking pendant is a master class in simplicity and expert craftsmanship -- from the elegant, single freshwater pearl down to the dazzling high-set diamond drop. Sometimes less really is more!
Pendant hangs from a new, gold filled chain.
