Taking its name from the French word for "river," a rivière is a short necklace designed to flow around the neck. It is composed of one type of stone in the same color and cut either the same size or sometimes slightly graduated.
The setting and the necklace itself are of a simple design to allow for the gemstones to take center stage.

Two of the paste pieces have the tiniest little chip on the table edge. It is only visible under close magnification. Otherwise, this piece is flawless.

Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Lightly polish with a jewelry polishing cloth, if needed.
