This is a lovely mid-century era hand vase likely made by Shawnee Pottery in the 1950s. These hand vases were made by a few different U.S.A based pottery companies like Shawnee and McCoy.
They strongly resemble glass and ceramic hand vases that were made during the Victorian era. This particular peach colored vase features a delicate hand holding a fluted vase. The hand has a cuff that is adorned with a sweet bow. The bottom of the vase is marked U.S.A.
Date: 1950s Materials: Clay/Ceramic Measurements: Height: 6 3/4" Width at widest point: 3 1/8" Markings: U.S.A (likely Shawnee Pottery) Condition: Very Good There is some crazing to the piece. Crazing is when small superficial cracks form in the glaze of the pottery. Does not detract, very sturdy.
