Garnet cabochon is moderately abraded making it opaque. This is a common issue with bullet cabochons. It's still a great, moody little ring.
Cleaning and Care
Clean gently with warm soap and water and a soft bristled brush. Do not immerse pearls in any type of cleaning solution. It will ruin them. Lightly polish with a jewelry polishing cloth, if desired.
